Devops Specialist - Storage, Unix, Linux, Puppet, AWS, Azure, Chef, Jenkins, Ruby

I am working on behalf of a leading software vendor for a Devops Storage Engineer to work in their demanding technology team. You will ideally come from a storage background with both scripting and automation experience. You will possess a deep understanding of cloud ( AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platforms) as well as storage infrastructure. The following is an outline of the requirements for this role.

Requirements of the role

• Any relevant storage knowledge around products (Veritas, EMC, Netapp)
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge around AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Programming experience around Python, Ruby, Java and Golang
• Working with CI/CD Pipelines (continuous integration/continuous deployment)
• Automation tools such as Puppet/Chef/Jenkins/Ansible Tower

Desirable

• Experience of working within an Agile environment utilising Devops practices
• Any experience working in a storage environment
• Any working knowledge or understanding of networking concepts ideally SDN
• Exposure to customers is highly beneficial to this role
