HMRC are looking for a DevOps Engineer - SC CLEARED.
This is a REMOTE 6 month initial contract INSIDE IR35.
We need someone to start ASAP. The role is fully remote. The office base is Newcastle, if you were commutable to that office it would help in the future (after the initial 6 months) but not essential.
Skills/Requirements:
* Experience and extensive knowledge of building, maintaining and testing software applications as part of a multi-functional product focused agile delivery team
* Experience utilizing configuration management software like Puppet or Ansible and scripting languages like BASH, Perl, Python, Javascript
* Experience of modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by other engineers
* SC clearance
* Perform out-of-hours support, scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
Desirable:
* Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and container orchestration
* Deploying, supporting and patching public, cloud-based applications that are repeatable, scalable, resilient and highly available (including APIs and microservices)
* Deploying scalable and highly available, transactional HTTP services including APIs
* Exposure to Document/Case Management systems such as Documentum/Pega
