DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared)
Whitehall Resources are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) for a 3 month contract. It will be based in London for 3 days with 2 days remote work.
*Candidate MUST have active SC Clearence*
Skills and Experience:-
– Passion for technology
– Showing initiative
– Self-learning
– Being a team player, i.e. take ownership of contributing to the overall team capability and knowledge
– Detailed knowledge of infrastructure on EC2 and associate AWS offerings
– Kubernetes Cluster Administration
– aC expertise in Terraform and Ansible
– Comfortable on the main Linux distros as well as solid understanding of Containerisation (Docker) technologies
– Working within an agile context with the use of CI
– Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
– Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
– The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
– The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.
– K8s ecosystem knowledge of cutting edge tools such as Flux, Istio, Helm
– Aware of modern Security Principles: Network policies, Security groups, ACLs, RBAC
– Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)
– Hashicorp tools (Packer and Vault)
– Knowledge and exposure to CI systems other than Jenkins. (Concourse, Drone, Circle, etc.)
