DevOps Engineer
Whitehall Resources are looking for a DevOps Engineer based in London with travel and remote working for a 3 Month period.

Job Spec-
The personal traits we are looking for are:

Must have:
Technologies (The must have requirements centre around the base technology platforms that we build all our infrastructure):
– Detailed knowledge of infrastructure on EC2 and associate AWS offerings
– Kubernetes Cluster Administration
– IaC expertise in Terraform and Ansible
– Comfortable on the main Linux distros as well as solid understanding of Containerisation (Docker) technologies
– Be SC Clearable
Skills:
– Working within an agile context with the use of CI
– Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
– Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
– The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
– The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.
Nice to have:
Technologies:
– K8s ecosystem knowledge of cutting-edge tools such as Flux, Istio, Helm
– Aware of modern Security Principles: Network policies, Security groups, ACLs, RBAC
– Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)
– Hashicorp tools (Packer and Vault)
– Knowledge and exposure to CI systems other than Jenkins. (Concourse, Drone, Circle, etc.)
