SR2 are offering an exciting opportunity to work as an Azure DevOps Engineer to join a long-term Public Sector project on an initial 6-month contract. This contract will pay a day rate up to £550 Outside IR35.

This project will allow you to work alongside a team of likeminded tech-lovers on the cutting edge of cloud technology. You will be working with a company that is at the forefront of development for both Private and Public Sector contracts.

The contract will provide the opportunity to work with a leading technology consultancy who are established in the UK Public Sector, having consistently secured government contracts. They offer digital transformation expertise and services including cloud and engineering, data and AI, automation and service design. They are highly reputable within the financial services, education, Public Sector and healthcare industries.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of and experience using Azure and other cloud computing technologies, including:
  • Azure
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Azure DevOps (pipeline as code)
  • GitHub
  • Terraform
  • Jenkins
  • Flux & Helm
  • Traefik
  • Kustomise
  • Palo Alto Panorama
  • Networking (Hub/Spoke)
• Excellent understanding and experience with Linux/Windows Scripting.
• Knowledge of IaaS, SaaS and PaaS practices.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps practices, including automation and CI/CD methodologies.
• Working knowledge with Agile development.

Due to the nature of this project, all applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance, with active SC being highly preferred.

What you can expect

This project will be a long-term engagement, with a 6-month initial contract and offers opportunities to extend. This contract is fully remote and is outside IR35.

This contract will pay up to £550 p/d, depending on experience, with immediate starts available.
