DevOps Engineer (Linux / Unix) – Warwickshire (Remote)

DevOps Engineer needed with Linux O/S expertise for a superb permanent career opportunity. Working for a leading global business based in near Nuneaton (Warwickshire).

Paying £45k-63k Base (DOE) + excellent Benefits Package: Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Life Assurance + Healthcare + Remote Working (1 Day/Week) + More!

Start ASAP ideally in Summer 2019. Key skills, experience and duties will include:

• Extensive Linux O/S expertise + scripting languages (Bash, Groovy, Java).
• Design, build, automation + deployment of cloud platform solutions.
• Deployment and release automation including feature flags to help application and product teams.
• Maintain and build CI/CD Pipelines across all environments.
• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) + Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
• Continuous Improvement of monitoring, alerting, reliability, scalability of business critical applications.
• Automating manual, repeatable tasks + using source code management techniques.
• Engaging with Platform Teams to design / implement DevSecOps tools.
• Sharing Devops / DevSecOps principles, processes and working practices.
