Type: 6 Month Contract (W2 or Independent 1099) Location: Remote, but preferred they are in Georgia or Southeast.
We are currently looking for a talented DevOps Engineers, skilled in Kafka and Ansible, to join our client’s team who are based in Marietta, GA!
This is a 6 month contract position (W2 or Independent Contract/1099). Interview process will include a phone and a virtual interview.
Important: Due to the nature of this particular position, this isn't open to 3rd party C2C.
Key Notes:
Position is on the Enterprise Monitoring Team
A Development Team of 8 (5 onsite & 3 offshore)
Team split between Atlanta and Austin
Core/Key aspect of this role is Kafka, Ansible, Golang (preferred), Kubernetes & Docker (are pluses)
Migrating to Kafka 2.0
Golang for scripting CI/CD pipeline (will consider other scripting language experience)
About this Role: We are looking for a candidate with a strong "DevOps” skillset, including strong Kafka and Ansible skills. Golang experience is definitely help too.
What you can bring to the table (must-have, required):
Minimum 3 years professional experience with Open Source/DevOps technologies
Kafka experience (experience migrating from older version to a newer version is huge plus)
Ansible experience
Additionally, should have strong experience with two or more of the following technologies:
Golang unit testing including the table-driven approach and profiling/benchmarking
Golang concurrency, specifically as it relates to stream processing/data pipelines.
Golang packaging/dependency management tools (ie mod, dep or glide)
