NiyamIT, Inc. is seeking a Mid-level DevOps Engineer to join us in Reston, VA in support of our work with the Department of Homeland Security - USCIS.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use GitHub & Jenkins to achieve automatic model build, training, and deployment
• Implement best security practices around provisioning the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts
• Facilitate Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflow
• Develop installation/provisioning scripts as needed using existing scripts
• Evaluate and tune infrastructure components as necessary
• Communicate complex ideas with clients and technical staff
• Document automated process for ease of maintenance and extensibility

Must Have:

• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a hands-on CI/CD environment
• Experience installing, configuring, and using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and OpenShift
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in a hands-on CI/CD environment
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and PHP
• Experience with DNS, routing, and network security
• Experience with identity and access control
• Experience using REST APIs
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Proof of US Citizenship
• Ability to receive a DHS Public Trust

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience working with federal clients
• A DHS Public Trust clearance
