DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Boggess Advisory Group is a boutique consulting firm with connections to some of the largest and most prominent firms in America including Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and Asset Managers. We partner to deliver cutting edge technology projects across a variety of industry sectors: Financial, Insurance, Technology, Energy and Telecom. We are actively seeking DevOps Associates and Sr. DevOps Associates to work within our consulting practice and 6 - 12-month rotations at our clients.

DevOps Associates are a bridge between the Cloud Engineering core teams (i.e. AppDev, Analytics, and Data Science) and the Infrastructure and Operations domains. All Associates require a deep understanding of networking, security mindedness, configuration management, infrastructure as code and public cloud technologies. Most client engagements involve Amazon or Azure cloud services, so experience with one or both is preferred, and should include setting up environments from scratch, using role-based access management to implement security, and infrastructure monitoring using leading toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure as Code to create build pipelines, environments, and repositories.
• Build and support solutions to automate the build environment and pipelines.
• Work within a dynamic team and take direction from seniors where necessary.
• Fluent in Agile communication and documentation.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
