I am currently recruiting for a DevOps engineer to work on a 6-month remote contract. You will be working on an AWS based project and will be carrying out the system reviews to make sure the architectural rules agreed by the team are being adhered to, working with external stakeholders to correct potential issues with the infrastructure and ensuring that the systems the team is working on are continuously available, as well as ensuring as many tasks are automated as possible.
The contract will run for an initial 6 months, but there is a strong pipeline of work here and there is a good chance of extension. The day rate is around £500 per day and the contract has been deemed to be outside IR35.
Experience required:
+ Systems engineering experience, within an Agile approach
+ AWS public cloud
+ AWS cloud formation scripts, for the building and maintenance of the AWS infrastructure
+ CI/CD pipeline experience
+ Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Git, Confluence, and BitBucket
+ Knowledge of AWS managed services
