Devops Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Long Term Contract

Job Description:

• Good knowledge on CI/CD implementation and integrating tools like ansible, jenkins, git etc.
• Automate production deployments using jenkins and maintain the already existing CI/CD jobs.
• Automate everyday tasks using bash,ksh script etc.
• Good knowledge on dockers, kubernetes, container integration with java application etc.,
• Handle application issues, errors and debug to find the issue.
• Handle the application release management to production and QA environment.
• Assist QA in scaling up and changing configuration during perf test.
• Knowledge on Loadbalacing [Netscalar], application load management, HTTP errors, VIP, SNIP setups, TCP ,SSH, SSL.
• Implement cert between application, VIP and load-balancer.
• Interact with Clients when there is cert change, network change and divert the application traffic accordingly.
• Divert traffic to different DC when needed during DR, release , issues etc.,
• Drive the migration to kubernetes for applications.
• Everyday support of application when issue comes.
• Complete all client assigned radar.
