DevOps AWS Engineer (Remote)

Job Summary

This role is for an application / network engineer with 3-5+ years’ experience in network device and services automation and orchestration. Experience with AWS cloud computing automation, micro-services architecture, container hosting experience and plus. This resource will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and documentation of automation service for the Network Service organization for both cloud and on-premise hardware.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Responsibilities

• Orchestration with Ansible or related product
• AWS Cloudformation and YAML development
• Python development
• API Integrations: REST and others
• Remote management of network environments using scripting, configuration management, or automated systems.
• Assist in development and maintenance of continuous delivery pipelines for scripting, configuration management, or automated solutions.
• Understanding of API integration for any of the following technologies: AWS, Infoblox IPAM, Cisco, Check Point
• Experience with ServiceNow API capabilities with emphasis on integration with network vendor APIs
• Knowledge of Git & Gitlab
• Puppet Enterprise management and Ruby development a plus
• Share responsibility for maintaining infrastructure running in the cloud and within our datacenters.
• Design and implementation of the enterprise cloud services supporting related Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and managed platforms (PaaS).
• Create and document subject matter expert roadmaps for solutions and technologies assigned.
• Research new technologies and platforms within the assigned areas that could provide value to the enterprise and present findings to stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as required.

Salary: $50.00 to $55.00 /hour
