Description:

Overview: In this hands-on position, to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, CI/CD enterprise pipeline. The person in this role is expected to bring in-depth knowledge and experience in the DevOps space including expertise with CI/CD, Build & Release Management and Cloud technologies. The DevOps Architect will also be responsible for defining and implementing DevOps and containerization best practices, software release pipelines, and automation to be leveraged across the enterprise.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years (recent) as a software developer and/or as a DevOps Engineer, in a role responsible for planning, designing, and leading implementation of high volume software development infrastructure growth

• Enterprise Agile experience required with DevOps frameworks

• Proficiency with Agile management tools such as the Atlassian suite

• Experience in Spinnaker & Kubernetes

• Strong experience with AWS (design and best practices)

• Experience in Design, implement, and manage DevOps capabilities in cloud offerings using CI/CD toolsets and automation

• Ensure DevOps systems we build are robust in the sense they can scale, handle rapid growth, and limit exposure to single points of failure and security vulnerabilities

• Plan, install and deploy highly available solutions in public cloud

• Defines and provides guidance on standards/best practices

• Architects and supports build and release automation pipelines deploying a full software stack in public/ private clouds

• Works to perform and validate installations / upgrades / deployments / containers

• Develops automation scripts for build, deployment, and versioning activities, and mentors less senior team members in this discipline
