DevOps Admin/Engineer – 6+ Month Contract – 100% Remote (50% travel required)
Modis has partnered with one of our superb Energy clients seeking a DevOps Admin/Engineer , who will be responsible for working with a small DevOps team, offshore team members, and clients to retrofit existing DevOps scripts into new project environments, retrofit a Jenkins pipeline into an Azure DevOps pipeline, and create a new DevOps solution for self-service/CI-CD. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience developing Azure DevOps, multiple years of scripting experience, and leadership experience. THIS IS A CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY.
Top Responsibilities of the DevOps Admin/Engineer:
Act as the lead designer for the DevOps team writing scripts for new project environments. Work on the development of pipelines and scripting to support DevOps outcome. Accelerate releases, enhance performance, decrease costs. Streamline development and consistency for scripting and coding. Encourage and instill process improvements for seamless integration among the teams. Ensure a collaborative and positive work environment across delivery locations. Help facilitate deployment automation, infrastructure automation, and ability to handle version control. Top Experience and Qualifications of the DevOps Admin/Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in related field. 5+ years of DevOps Administrator/Developer experience. 4+ years of experience working within an Azure DevOps pipeline At least four years of experience within Jenkins, five years of scriptwriting, and at least two years working within SQL. Proven experience developing a migration process CI/CD for Oracle Fusion or Oracle Applications.
