You will work with our wider team on multiple workstreams, providing expert technical direction and insight on the projects being undertaken within our organisation. You will support other developers from the different internal projects, reviewing and improving upon their work to ensure that code releases and various deployments and fixes are identified and applied to the highest standard, improving our overall ability to meet our users’ needs and experience.

What you will do
Lead the development of Azure solutions within a DevOps environment
Provide expert guidance and insight into deliverables and providing the technical direction of various code deployments and releases
Assist with deploying updates and fixes, identifying and resolving technical issues
Improve the unit testing framework
Investigate new technologies and work with the wider team to support their review and deployment
Develop and deliver services as part of an Agile scrum team
Essential Skills and Experience
A strong background working with Azure DevOps and the full SDLC
Experience writing CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins
Good knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript design patterns
Strong understanding of coding test principles including unit testing
Previous experience working in a Microservice Architecture
Good understanding of Git and its branching strategies
