MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) - Contract - 3 months - Fully Remote working. My client is looking to recruit an experienced Database Administrator with experience of managing MySQL or MariaDB databases. The candidate must have experience tuning databases to perform optimally for Enterprise scale implementations of MySQL and/or MariaDB with several 100,000 records in complex web based applications. Experience of CRM systems would be advantageous (especially CiviCRM) but not essential. The ability to clearly monitor and report issues in the database in a way that enables debugging of an application is also vital. Experience of database management and monitoring tools such as Navicat or Toad is advantageous but the specific tools are flexible. The role is in an IG sensitive domain so experience of working with sensitive data such as health would be advantageous and understanding the security implications of working it such environments is essential.
