Data Warehouse Developer RemoteMadison, Wisconsin 3 year Contract The Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for assisting in ETL design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata and implementation of data warehouse activities. Note In coordination with the ldquoSafer at Homerdquo guidelines, contracted staff will work with their manager to access work remotely as needed temporarily. However, contract staff will be required to return to the home office in Madison, Wisconsin for regular business hours as restrictions allow. Responsibilities Work with other IT technical teams and business users to understand requirements, recommend and implement solutions Develop ETL mapping specifications for loading information into the data warehouse and ensure reliability of information loaded Continuous improvement in performance and tuning of data warehouse to ensure security of data Qualifications ndash At least 3 years of experience Experience in data warehousing process design, development, performance and tuning At least 3 years of experience using Informatica data warehousing tool suite Ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures including testuse cases Experience in implementation of large, complicated models and process Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse and Business Intelligence lifecycle methodology Experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports (nice to have) Develop skills in architecture of data warehouse, data integration strategies and solutions Knowledge in relational databases Oracle, DB2 SQL Server Strong data management and data analysis using SQL and PLSQL Moderate skills working with relational and dimensional data models Moderate skills working with slowly changing dimensions Experience in technical writing and documentation Excellent organization, analytical and communication skills
