As a preferred and trusted PSL recruitment partner to this international banking group for over seven years, we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Voice Network Engineer to join them on an initial 6-month contract to work on BAU and project-based workloads covering the ongoing maintenance, administration and large-scale technical change of the organisations EMEA Voice Network Systems and Data Network Systems.
For this role, Voice and Data Network experience is key. The successful candidate should also have experience with two of the following firewalls; Palo Alto, CheckPoint or Cisco ASA. This role is to work in an international transactional bank focusing in on their EMEA Voice Network and Data Systems. Therefore, an understanding of large-scale, international focused voice network systems will be key.
Key Skills / Requirements / Experience
-Strong Voice Networks & Data Networks Experience
-Cisco CCNP Certified (ideally Voice / CVCP), and possibly CISSP Certified
-Working as part of a Data Network Team within a Large-Scale Multi-Site Critical Network Environment
-Installing / Maintaining Call Management and Voicemail Systems - Cisco Unified Call Manager, Call Manager Express and Voicemail
-Firewalls: Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point
-Routing & Switching: Layer 3 Path Control, IPv4 Redistribution, EIGRP Based Solutions, OSPF, BGP, Layer 2 Switching, VLAN's, Multicast
-Incident Management & Troubleshooting
-Administration - Creation of Network Voice Diagrams / Documentation
-VoIP Systems - Cisco
-ARC Server Solutions
-Automatic Call Distribution Systems - UCCX
-Maintaining and Monitoring Network Performance
-Troubleshooting a multi-protocol system network
-NX OS
-Other Certifications Useful: CCVP, CCNP, CISSP, ITIL, COBIT
Full Environment / Skills: Layer 3 Path Control, IPv4 Redistribution, EIGRP OSPF BGP Based Solutions, Layer 2 Switching, VLAN's, High Availability, Multicast, Maintaining / Monitoring Network Performance, Troubleshooting a multi-protocol system network, NX OS, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Unified Call Manager, Call Manager Express and Voicemail, RedBox Voice Recording, ARC Server, IPC Dealerboard & Associated private circuits and direct lines.
We have successfully assisted in the recruitment of a large number of individuals into this global banking organisation over the past six years, and whilst all contracts are released for initial six months engagements, the majority of contractors are on-site for two or three years, making this a great long-term opportunity.
