As a Data Engineer you will have the chance to work for a consultancy using Big Query, Google Analytics and Python for ETL work.
THE COMPANY:
As a Data Engineer, you will be working for a consultancy who specialise within helping clients build platforms from both the front end /back. You will be working alongside other Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts in a fast paced environment.
THE ROLE:
As a Data Engineer, you will you will be heavily involved in ETL development using Python. Therefore as a Data Engineer you must be extremely skilled in Python and if you have exposure to Python libraries such a NumPy this is valuable. You will be working in Google Cloud Platform so good experience with Big Query is vital. As a Data Engineer if you also have previous experience with Google Analytics and reporting APIs this is advantageous. As a Data Engineer may also be involved in the visualisation side so any experience with Tableau and Looker is also valuable. As you will be working in a consultancy you must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Any experience within agencies or consultancies is valuable.
