LOOKING FOR A HANDS ON ARCHITECT WITH A PRAGMATIC APPROACH TO GET INVOLVED WITH PROJECTS AND TO DRIVE PROGRESS, AS OPPOSED TO STEERING THE DIRECTION OF PROJECTS.

• Translating business and solution architecture into technical data requirements, driving out data models, & conceptual to logical views of data

• Develop strategic data solutions to leverage fit for BI/data technology and capabilities enabling the client to move towards the goal of data driven decision making, ultimately enabling the monetisation of data asset.

• Understanding and documenting of group internal and external data components enabling client to master its data estate and the inter-dependencies across the organisation to drive group wide view of data, BI & analytics.

• Working within a Technical Design Authority, providing guidance to projects and programmes and helping them deliver designs that conform to the defined data architecture elements

• Experience in the following data elements, data modelling, data governance, data profiling, BI & analytics capabilities, data security & protection, streaming & APIS, cloud data storage & data lakes, AI & machine learning, data warehousing, data integration

• Leveraging the use of industry recognised standards to support ICT frameworks, such as TOGAF, ITIL and COBIT to provide common understanding amongst key stakeholders of supporting architectural concepts and their impacts

• Participating in the definition of data strategy, principles, standards and guidelines, and their establishment within the organisation
