The vision is to consolidate and enhance CRM instances to a maximum of one per Division (Microsoft and Salesforce) with Marketing Automation (Marketo and Pardot), sales tools, common data layer and advanced analytics

The Data Architect (CRM, Azure, PowerBI, Salesforce, Data Cleansing) will own the Product Backlog in relation to the One CRM data model, data migration, common data layer and interfaces. The data layer and reporting solution will be provided by Microsoft Azure and Power BI.

Responsibilities for the Data Architect (CRM, Azure, PowerBI, Salesforce, Data Cleansing)

  • Data Model and Migration
  • Own the consolidated Data Model
  • Interface with Enterprise Data Architect and other programmes in relation to data
  • Working with Divisions and Business Unit data owners, identify and analyse data quality from Data Source
  • Develop a thorough understanding of CRM data
  • Define data cleansing and deduplication rules
  • Executes the data cleansing and deduplication (resolution of suspected duplicates where manual decision is needed)
  • Define the rules for Account data ownership and assigns ownership for data loaded to CRM
  • Ensure common data model for CRM, enabling advanced analytics and common ways of working
  • Ensure common preferences and GDPR compliance across multiple CRM and Marketing Automation landscape
  • Coordinate with business unit teams for data cleansing, improvement, deduplication, mapping and manual work pre/post go-live
  • Lead the data work stream, taking responsibility for divisional data roles and deliverables
  • Work closely with business analysts, technical architect, migration and reporting teams
  • Own the One CRM Integration Product Backlog, ensuring all contents are accurate and up to date
  • Provide real-time prioritisation of the Product Backlog considering programme priorities, stakeholder needs, time, cost and risk
  • Facilitate changes to User Stories, ensuring changes are correctly assessed, justified, approved and communicated
  • Overseeing the Product build including planning, refinement, review and acceptance

Requirements for the Data Architect (CRM, Azure, PowerBI, Salesforce, Data Cleansing)

  • Experience defining and maintaining data models (Essential)
  • Analytical mind set with experience managing disparate data sets (Essential)
  • Highly organised and excellent attention to detail (Essential)
  • Significant experience with data migration projects, tools and methodologies (Essential)
  • Experience of data cleansing, improvement, deduplication, mapping best practice (Essential)
  • Understanding of data architecture, governance and regulatory areas such as GDPR (Essential)
  • Experience with complex integrations and defining data flows (Preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Power BI (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience with CRM architecture and APIs (Preferred)
  • Exposure to Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics systems (Preferred)
  • Comfortable communicating with business, technical and user communities (Essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Essential)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (Preferred)
