Illuminet Recruitment are currently looking for a Cyber Security Consultant, for a 12 - 24 month contract based in South West England. The Client requires support for a broad range of physical security, cyber security, information assurance and resilience disciplines. They will also be capable of delivering SQEP staff as required.
The successful applicant will work with stakeholders from a number of JFC ISS teams: Design & Architecture, Service Management, Accreditors, Networks Infrastructure and specific Project Teams. They must be proficient in the broadest range of disciplines, although more than one individual within the resource may be acceptable.
What you will be working on:
a) Physical Security: advice to project teams on compliance with HMG standards for accommodation, including CT, classified material and special handling. Ad Hoc advice to SAC on JSP 440 requirements as arising from incidents, investigations and risk assessments.
b) Cyber Security & IA advice to project teams, and general support to the SAC function. This includes preparation, review and amendment of typical accreditation documentation, risk management documentation. Participation in Security Working Groups.
c) Business Continuity & resilience advice to project teams in relation to live service management & in response to incidents and exercises.
