A unique opportunity for a Contract Software Engineer - C#.NET to work remotely for our Scotland-based client.
Having reached out to us with an initial 6-month opportunity for a skilled Contractor, our client is seeking a Software Engineer to provide critical support on new product development. Working on industrial instrumentation, you will develop robust code which will support the next generation of products and provide a strong platform for future advancement.
Ideally you will have a background in C++ development at application level, where you will have progressed into C#.NET development as the technology became more commonplace. You will be familiar with developing application level software to control hardware, using platforms such as WinCE or Visual Studio and perhaps Visual Basic.
To be considered for the Contract Software Engineer - C#.NET opportunity working remotely, you will need:
Strong C#.NET experience
Experience with Visual Studio
Strong Knowledge of WinCE
Serial comms experience, TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet
Experience with SQL is an advantage
