Contract Java Developer
Opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join a data-driven SaaS FinTech firm who provide data analytics and insight into global financial markets on a 3-6 month contract where you’ll be working on a next-generation platform using technologies including Java, Spring, and Maria or MongoDB.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for working on core Java architecture and making enhancements to their existing data platform. This will be a data-focused role where you’ll be solving ETL challenges with Java and Spring as part of a small but highly-performant development team.
This is working in an Agile/DevOps environment with exposure to technologies like Kubernetes, Docker and CD.
There is an opportunity to work remotely for one day a week.
Key skills
High level of proficiency in Java
Expert knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot
Understanding of MongoDB or MariaDB
Understanding of Agile/DevOps

Solid understanding of complex data structures and ETL
