This role can be conducted remotely but with the occassional office visit to Manchester city centre.
Key responsibilities will include;
● Developing, configuring, managing and upgrading the physical and virtual
systems
● Providing exceptional system support to server infrastructures
● Managing and developing virtual hosting technologies, back office applications
and system monitoring software.
● Patching, upgrading, antivirus installation and overall security of the Linux and
virtual infrastructure,
● Assisting in the design and security of supporting technical architecture
● Liaising with an array of stakeholders to collaboratively ensure minimal
downtime and disruption and executing root cause analysis to eliminate
underlying or potential issues.
Experience in
● Experience of Cloud hosting, specifically Azure and AWS
● Experience installing, configuring and supporting Apache, MySQL, Asterisk.
● Experience of Red Hat
● Exposure to diagnosing various server issues using standard open source
This is an initial 3 month contract.
