Cloud Security Architect - LDN - TOP MARKET RATE + Remote Work
Global enterprise scale business are circa 18 months into their digital transformation/cloud adoption (AWS). As expected in a global scale business there has been some resiliance in making changes however, significant wins have been made and this global platform is now targeted as the future platform for the entire company and at the heart of their digital transformation strategy.
Their security team are now writing an AWS based PaaS framework for integrating security best practices into developer teams by exposing them as code libraries and APIs that developers will find simple and unobtrusive to implement. They work in open source as both users and contributors and have already established a team of DevSecOps specilaists that you will work very closely with als well as product teams globally.
Reporting into their Product information security officer, Director - Essentially, you will serve as a subject matter expert in application development, database and microservice design, container and/or virtual machine technologies, helping project teams comply with enterprise and CISO security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Key skills (buzzwords so that you see this advert):
Advanced knowledge of cloud ecosystems primarily with AWS although knowledge of Azure and Google cloud will also be beneficial
Solid experience with secure SDLC (i.e. Agile, DevOps), threat modelling, risk management, vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring.
In-depth knowledge of application security tool sets used for static and dynamic testing such as Checkmarx, AppSpider
In-depth understanding of application security frameworks such as OWASP
Solid working experience of CI tools such as Jenkins and Travis CI etc
Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities - able to convey risk to all levels of the business, from C-level executives to operations and development teams
