What level Clearance do I need? Must be able to obtain DHS BI and DoD TS/SCI clearances.
What experience, training, and education do I need?
You MUST hold the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related degree.
- Strong background in successful application migrations to the cloud.
- Ability to use wide variety of open source technologies.
- Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or equivalent.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs such as SQL, MySQL, Amazon DynamoDB.
- Solid understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks.
- A working understanding of code and script such as: PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby.
- Implementing architectural governance and proactively managing issues and risks throughout the delivery life cycle.
- Good familiarity with the disciplines of enterprise software development such as configuration & release management, source code & version controls, and operational considerations such as monitoring and instrumentation.
- Experience with consulting or service provider roles (internal, or external).
- Strong knowledge on software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum, Kan Ban etc.
- Broad understanding of enterprise project life cycle.
Desired experience:
- Experience leading a cloud infrastructure project for hands-on migration to government clouds.

Who will I be working with? In support of Inflow's contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), you will be working directly along side government leads and our team of other awesome Inflowees.
What will I be doing? The Cloud Solution Architect/Engineer specializing in migrations is a cloud role in the project delivery cycle with hands-on experience migrating customers to the cloud.
- Working closely with clients, partners and other business units to ensure consulting engagements are successful.
- Recommend Cloud architecture, which provides an optimized cost effective, elastic scalable solution.
- Support the “Lift and Shift” efforts to migrate to the cloud.
- Support Cloud Operations.
