We have an immediate need for an experience Cloud Architect to join out client in New York on a contract basis.
Ideally we are looking for a candidate who grew up in the networking arena, or somewhere where network engineering expertise is exceptional.
With 2-5 years hands-on experience on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud architecture and operations. Someone with experience on a variety of AWS services such as VPC/SubNet/Security Group, EC2, ECS, CLI, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, Lambda, and IAM.
This is a fully remote opening to start with, but we are looking for someone based in New York. This is a 12+ month minimum contract.
Duties:
- Experience in the design and deployment of dynamically scalable fault-tolerant, reliable, and highly available applications on AWS.
- Experience in the selection of appropriate AWS services for designing and deploying the applications.
- Experience in the migration of complex and multi-tier applications to Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience in the implementation of cost-control strategies for Cloud-based workloads in AWS or Azure.
- Experience in designing and monitoring the enterprise-wide scalable operations in Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with provisioning, configuring, managing AWS services such as VPC/SubNet/Security Group, EC2, ECS, CLI, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM.
Top 3-5 skills required:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud architecture, operations, or administration
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
- Experience in designing and monitoring the enterprise-wide scalable operations in Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
