A leading client within the professional services sector are looking for a Cloud Architect for a 3 month project working remotely in Canada. They have an outstanding global reputation within their sector.
Your new role Our client requires a resource to join a data modernization engagement which is already in progress. The current phase of the project is to build out the technical platform for a self-serve analytics platform.
Role Deliverables • Assist in the development of the technical solution/platform that will be used. • Build technical requirements from the business requirements and initiate the platform development • Build out components on a cloud based architecture
What you'll need to succeed Technical Skills – Minimum 5+ years • Experience with developing cloud-based architecture such as Azure or AWS • Experience with SQL, Data Lakes and NoSQL databases • Experience with Programming in a language for data wrangling is essential – preferably Python • Familiarity with SQL query development and data analysis • Experience testing systems for efficacy • Understanding of design thinking principles would be an asset
Other Skills • Strong Communication Skills required including experience dealing with stakeholders at various levels of leadership – (Must have) • Anticipates and prepares for responses or reactions of others with sensitivity and directness • Applying knowledge strategically
