Cloud Architect (Remote)

We are looking for experienced cloud architect/developers who can assist our customers in architecting, developing and re-engineering applications that can fully leverage the AWS Cloud.

Do you like to work on a various cloud projects, including development and cloud technology adoption? In order for applications to be cloud optimized, they need to be architected correctly enabling them to reap the benefits of elasticity, horizontal scalability, automation and high availability. We are looking for great people to help our clients achieve the benefits from designing these parameters correctly.

We are looking for highly talented hands on technical architects to help accelerate our growing Professional Services business. Ideal applicants will have experience with the following AWS services:

• EC2
• Auto Scaling
• Elastic Load Balancing,
• Elastic Beanstalk
• AWS Elastic Container Services
• AWS Serverless / Lambda
• CloudFormation

We are looking for hands on architects/developers who are passionate about what they do. We need experienced problem solvers to help companies optimize their investments in the AWS Cloud.

You will help our clients with various tasks, including:

• Architecting and developing customer applications to be cloud optimized
• Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment
• Design and optimize scalability so applications are highly available
• Consult on software development techniques with respect cloud architecture, design patterns and programming

We are looking for great people with the following requirements/experience:

• BS (or Masters) level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred
• Agile development methodology
• 5+ years of software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Node.js, .NET, Python, PHP, Ruby or GO
• DevOps / CI/CD
• Designing and building application using Container and serverless technologies
• Good experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Deep experience with AWS services like those mentioned above, and others.
