FPSG's Glasgow based Client is continuing to grow and wish to hire some more top quality Developers with C# .Net Core skills. There is an existing Project reaching a key stage and we require the skills of 2 further Developers with specific .Net Core skills at this time. There will be an opportunity to start work ASAP, where you will be working from home, with a view to being based in Glasgow, Central Scotland post Covid-19, with a mature working pattern agreed for office time versus home working as appropriate. Role Responsibilities
Writing readable and maintainable code
Working in an agile environment
Interacting with 3rd party APIs
Testing and reconciliation
Applying software development principles and best practices
Person Specification
As a successful C#.Net Core Developer, you will have:
Strong C# .Net / .Net Core experience
Previously involved in projects using REST APIs
Experience of working with Azure or similar
Exposure to messaging such as Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ
Understanding of process automation
Proficient with version control
Exceptional attention to detail
Be able to work to deadlines
Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of micro service architecture would be an advantage
Working knowledge of Angular 8 is of interest
Reward
The roles will be via Ltd Company / Umbrella and be paid on a Day Rate. The roles have been deemed to be Out of Scope of IR35. This will be discussed further rates and potential start dates with suitable applicants and agreed ahead of interviews which will have offers made promptly afterwards to allow work on the project to start ASAP.
