C# Developer Inside IR35

Remote working initially.

Our client who are a leading media organisation have an opportunity for a C# Developer to join on an initial 6-12 month contract. Please send your CV in the first instance for immediate review.

Role requirements:

• Produce high quality code using Test Driven Development 
• Be able to diagnose issues via debugging, logging and tools like NewRelic 
• Have an understanding of and be able to implement design patterns (eg GO4), design principles (eg SOLID) 
• Have a good understanding of C# and the .NET ecosystem including Visual Studio 2017+, ASP.NET MVC and WebApi 
• Have a good understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript 
• Be able to work with within modern Front End frameworks eg Angular, Knockout or Aurelia 
• Be open to and embrace exposure to new architectures, cloud based infrastructures and modern ways of working

Required skills:

• Proven experience working with Microsoft C#, Visual Studio and the .NET Runtime (or equivalent) 
• Proven track record of Agile based project delivery 
• Proven exposure to one of the following: SQL Database, NoSQL database or Cloud-based storage solutions (TableStorage, SimpleDb or DynamoDb) 
• Proven track record of Test Driven Development 
• A good understanding of the AWS Cloud (or similar eg Azure) 
• An understanding of messaging based architectures
•  A good understanding of design patterns and principles eg SOLID and GO4 
• Ability to refactor code 
• Ability to work in a complex and fast-moving domain 
• Ability to quickly debug
