Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

IT for IT is the CIO organization that provides technology solutions, processes, and data that meet the needs of Enterprise IT business and process owners. IT for IT is tasked with simplifying and optimizing the technology portfolio to provide improved service, simplification, and cost reduction to EIT business and process owners.

One of the teams within IT for IT is the Asset Management and TAPE team. This team provides the following services :

  • Execution of software orders and procurement for distributed serving environments including – Assistance for business partners in creating and executing, software orders ; Tracking and Management of software licenses inventories ; On-boarding new managed vendors into the TAO-DS environment; AND Technology asset acquistition (software delivery processes) after purchase execution on support of: Enterprise Allegations, Community Banking Branch Supervisions, Community Banking Review Standards, BSA - Customer Due Diligence, Customer Exists, and Anti-Money Laundering.
  • Vendor engagement services including – Contract analysis ; Vendor engagement ; and Venbdor risk assessment.
  • Financial Management support for purchase, chargeback and invoice processes.
  • Software reconciliation with the CMDB
  • Asset Disposal and Lifecycle management

Responibilities include:

  • Acts as liaison between client area, technical organization, and other affected areas by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved through strategic eCommerce-based solutions (e.g., Intranet and Internet).
  • Facilitates requirements gathering process and refinement
  • Manages daily activities for development iterations
  • Responsible for producing business requirements and SDLC document approvals
  • Functions as project manager for large and complex projects.
  • Develops project plans and schedules, including budgets.
  • May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by evaluating current processes and recommending new e-commerce solutions that reduce costs or extend current capabilities.
  • Tools used to evaluate current processes may be industry tools or self-developed.
  • May act as an external consultant as a participant in consortia groups.
  • May work directly with senior management and is considered a high-level expert.

Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to the posted locations with limited to no relocation assistance. Remote work may be an option for those candidates that have prior remote work experience.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners
  • Ability to gather and document technical requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Experience supporting .net applications
  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
