Analytiks is seeking a mid-level Business Intelligence/Data Analyst to support our growing consulting team! If you are a Data or BI Analyst with an eye for capturing what others miss, a strong analytical focus, and the ability to research, model, visualize, and provide insights as well as identify trends, we want to talk with you!
**This role is to be 100% remote. Candidate must reside in the United States. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time or in the future.**
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with client stakeholders and coordinate delivery of projects in scope and on time
- Define business requirements and functional specifications for a BI solution – including data requirements, reporting/presentation layer requirements.
- Drive data architecture and modeling recommendations
- Perform data ETL processing from multiple sources
- Conduct data analysis and interpret data to answer key business questions
- Develop report deliverables and data visualizations producing valuable insights to stakeholders
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong experience with ETL development (i.e. SSIS, AWS Data Pipeline, Azure Data Factory), data modeling, and data warehouse design
- Extensive experience with SQL and Python
- Proven experience with data visualization (i.e. Tableau, Looker, etc)
- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required
- Self-driven, with demonstrated ability to deliver on ambiguous projects as well as projects/requests where the underlying data is incomplete
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting
- Experienced working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and comfortable navigating conflicting priorities and ambiguous problems
- Tableau Certification a plus
- AWS Cloud Architect or DevOps Certification a plus
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or other quantitative fields.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring the application of data modeling and analytic skills
