Big Data Engineer - Python / Hadoop / Spark

Based in either Hampshire or Newport

CANDIDATES MUST HOLD ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE OR BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.

Due to Covid-19, all interviews will be held remotely and the initial period of the contract will be fully remote.

A Big Data Engineer is required for a greenfield programme. You must have experience developing cloud based Big Data platforms within a commercial setting and working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience Required:

  • Python
  • Scala
  • Spark
  • Hadoop (Hive, Impala)
  • Extensive knowledge of Data Engineering and Architecture best practices
  • Stakeholder Management
