Job Description :
Summary of the project/initiative:
SDR Labs Consolidation initiative was approved in July Capital by UCS with the intent of streamlining multiple feeds for lab data thru SDR and have all the downstreams consume the lab and Biometrics data from SDR via batch files or Kafka stream or an API.
Ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.) Excellent Java development background,Spark Scala skillset , Kafka /REST API knowledge, Hadoop/Hive , Deep Health care background (knowledge of FHIR)
Team members and skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.) 1 Scrum master, 1 PO, 3 DAs, 3 Dev
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of software development and Java background
  • 2+ years of Big data experience - in Spark/Scala/Hadoop technologies
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes Experienced in creating and parsing JSON
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies
  • Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
Preferred:
  • REST APIs, Kafka
Healthcare background
  • Rally - Agile tool
What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) 9-5
Interview process: 2 rounds  1 phone, 1 video f. How technical will the interviews be? Deep, expected to write code
Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred Health Care Company facility, if other please specify i.e. remote work, rural, etc.) Most likely remote due to Covid situation, otherwise MN002
Additional Notes to Vendor :
Recent healthcare background is mandatory. FHIR experience is a huge plus.
