A large internationally recognised business is looking for a proven BI Data Engineer to develop, maintain and support systems dealing with large datasets used for analytics and insight. This is a contract role for initially 6 months and paying up to £500 per day.
Based from impressive offices in central London, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing & reviewing existing data pipelines, configuring and supporting additional data technologies, wrangling and cleansing data as well as evaluating replacement data technologies.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience in a similar BI Data Engineer role in an enterprise environment with strong Storm, MongoDB, Power BI & SQL skills. The ideal candidate will also have some Big Data, Google Big Query / Data Studio and Spark exposure, although this is not essential.
This is a pivotal role in a large constantly evolving business - they have plenty of planned projects so there is a chance this contract may be extended.
