Backend Software Engineer Remote / WfH to £500 p/ day

Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Go Java Python). Academy Award winning visual effects software studio is seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer for a 3 month remote contract (UK based).

As a Backend Software Engineer you will design and develop core components of a complex software used for storyboarding in film and animation. You'll be primarily using Go / Golang with a focus on backend systems.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home full-time for the duration of the 3 month contract from anywhere in the UK.

Requirements:

• You a skilled Software Engineer with backend development experience using Python or Java
• You have a good knowledge of Golang, ideally with commercial experience although you may have only used it for personal projects
• You have a good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms and Design Patterns
• You're collaborative with good communication skills
