Backend or Fullstack Developer - Brussels, Belgium

A government agency based in Brussels, Belgium is currently looking for a number of Java or Fullstack Developers to work on defining a universal and efficient data exchange "language" compatible with (but not limited by) regulations and international requirements.

Therefore it is essential that all applicants have Java experience, exposure to a Spring framework and can be based in Brussels 5 days per week.

Some of the day to day tasks include -

• Architecture and design of information systems
• Review of the architecture of existing systems
• Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems
• Development and maintenance of information systems
• Development and integration of technological components
• Data analysis and data modelling
• Implementation of the technical architecture

Essential

• Good knowledge of Java or Java Enterprise

• development and conception of applications with Spring framework

• working experience in the development and conception of applications with one or several of the following (any combination):

• o JPA, Hibernate or similar, JDBC, JMS
  o Application servers: Oracle Weblogic, Wildfly or similar
  o SQL: Oracle RDBMS, PostgreSQL or similar DB engines
  o Webservices: SOAP, REST
  o XML standards: XSD, XSLT

• Ability to be based in Brussels, Belgium full-time.

Desirable

• Fluency in English and French
