Back End Java Developer

Back End Java Developer. This role can start immediately. A start-up software company based in Central London require a Back End Java Developer. They are developing an impressive app and has some impressive backing from global business such as Sky! The platform is still being engineered and require a Back End Java Developer to help them take to market.

They have some of the latest technologies and are developing high quality backend microservices.

Essential:

• Java Web/Backend background - full knowledge of full SDLC projects
• Microservices - ideally have built/architected from scratch and are familiar with modules and APIs
• Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes
• RESTful APIs development
• Spring Boot framework
• JUnit or equivalent unit test frameworks
• TDD & Agile working

Highly Desired (but not essential)

• Microsoft Azure
• CD/CI
• Start-up experience
• Bash/Scripting
• Front end skills such as JavaScript

The main thing they’re looking for is excellent Back End coding and engineering skills, you will have an intimate knowledge of setting up microservices and Docker, the rest is optional and a bonus. Please apply now with an updated CV.
