Azure Developer (Remote, Outside IR35)

Our client is looking for an experienced  Azure Developer to start ASAP on a 3 – 6 moth contract with a view to extend thereafter as part of a large programme of work.

The role will be remote working from home and has been determined Outside of IR35.               

The client is specifically looking for a Senior Developer who can hit the ground running and has proven experienced successfully working remotely as part of a team. Your expertise will be used on the greenfield Azure project.

Key Skills/Experience

• Min 3 years’ experience as an Azure Developer/Cloud Developer
• Azure Functions
• Logic Apps
• Azure AD
• Azure Oauth
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure WebAPI Apps
• Excellent C# and .Net coding skills for enterprise software development using .NET stack, including: REST APIs, Web Applications and distributed systems
• Understanding of data security - data encryption for data at rest and in transit
• Knowledge of appropriate authentication mechanism, such as access keys, shared access signatures (SAS) and Azure AD / Active Directory
• RESTful APIs
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable experience

• Unit Testing/Test-Driven Development
• Azure DevOps experience
• AngularJS
• Visual Studio

Any of the following Certifications would be a distinct advantage:

• Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate
• Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified Azure Data Fundamentals
