Job description
Design & develop data pipeline for consolidation and migration of several data marts/on-premise data warehouse to AWS Redshift
Develop & maintain python & Linux shell scripts for cluster bootstraps
Develop & maintain alerts and notification solutions on Kibana/Grafana
Understanding and working knowledge of any Hadoop distro or AWS ecosystem
Implement cloud migration strategies from traditional appliance based data warehouse to cloud
Use troubleshooting skills and work closely with architects, developers & engineers to ensure successful migration of solution and data to cloud
Configuration of CI/CD pipelines and support/resolve technical complexities to integrate various DevOps practices as part of a CI/CD implementation
Create AWS EC2 instances using cloud formation stack and align with corporate security policies
Ability to work past the normal shift hours for L3 support as required
Primary Skills (Must Have)
4-5 overall IT experience with 5+ years of relevant experience in AWS/BigData Stack
Solid software engineering skills
Expert in Python programming - procedural and OOPs
Exposure in Unix/Linux env; Ability to write bash/shell scripts
Exposure with Bigdata stack - including Hive, Sqoop, HDFS
Exposure with AWS Ecosystem - EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, IAM, CF
Exposure to CI/CD tools - GIT, Jenkins, BitBucket
Qualification & Certifications
AWS Sol Arch/DevOps certification is a plus
