Planet121's global client is seeking a fully REMOTE AWS Data Engineer to join them on a new 13 month month contract. They are looking for someone who is strong in either Scala or Python to help in the data migration efforts or a larger AWS transformation project. Candidates will need experience in the following AWS, Spark, Relational Technologies, SQL, Big Data Systems, Object system design. The client is in New York City and work will be 100 remote. Candidates located in Eastern and Central Time are preferred. Estimated remote start date for this position is in the January timeframe. Those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
