I am currently looking for an Automation Test Analyst (Java Desktop) to join a top organisation based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business.
My client requires a Test Automation/Quality Assurance resource co-located with the lean/agile development team to create BDD Cucumber acceptance tests for a Java desktop application covering the UAT regression tests currently performed manually by users.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Write automated acceptance tests that use the user interface using technologies like Cucumber for BDD. The individual should be able to write such automated tests to build up our regression coverage and assist other developers in writing automated acceptance tests.
Key Requirements
Experienced Automation Test Analyst
Java desktop (Java FX/Swing as well as server-side) automation testing experience.
Desktop experience in helping business users automate manual user regression tests via the user interface.
Front office business analysis communication skills to interpret and simplify existing business regression tests.
Incorporating acceptance tests as part new feature development.
Advanced knowledge of Java and associated ecosystem (Java 8, Eclipse, Maven, GIT, Jenkins, RESTful Web Services).
Contract
£500-550 per day
