PHP Backend Developer (Remote)

The Senior PHP Backend Developer will join Arraya Solutions as a contractor to one of our customers who are a million-dollar start up in Wilmington, DE. This person will have direct access to co-founders and the IT Leader. The position has high-visibility, tons of room to grow internally and has virtually no red tape. This company is in the cloud, leveraging AWS and their main development stack is PHP and MySQL. There is a possibility of this contract converting to salary down the road. During the contract period, there is potential for overtime hours if desired.

Requirements:

PHP

MySQL

Javascript

Jquery

React or Vue.js preferred, not required

Git

API dev – for mobile app & frontend

API integration experience – (e.g. Outlook, Google Calendar, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc) is preferred, but not required

AWS – preferred, not required

Depending on your skill set, responsibilities will include the development of a new automation database, new data integrations for our core offering, new enhancement features, and analysis as we round out our product offering. You will also assist in bug/issue resolution with an eye towards maintainability. You will take direction from, and collaborate with executive management. This is an associate position, however with appropriate experience, you will have the opportunity to manage our highly talented, locally based freelance team, and advance as we build our infrastructure.

*This is a fully remote position; however, we will require one in-office meeting on a bi-weekly basis. So you will need to live within a commutable distance to Wilmington, DE and have transportation available.

7+ years’ experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Remote position, even after COVID-19 becomes a non-factor. Only onsite requirement is twice a month for a meeting in person.
