Blue Earth Alliance is seeking an administrator to assist the organization with a number of administrative tasks for operation, event, fundraising and programs on a contract basis.
Founded in 1995, Blue Earth Alliance is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting cause-driven documentary photographers and filmmakers. Blue Earth believes documentary photography can inspire positive change. Blue Earth Alliance’s mission is to support visual storytelling on critical environmental and social issues through direct assistance to photographers and a collaborative community of professionals. www.blueearth.org
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Social Media;
· Knowledge of SalesForce preferred, Skype, and Wordpress preferred;
· Knowledge of photography and/or multimedia with Photoshop and Lightroom skills, and graphic design skills a plus;
· Experience grant writing successful applications preferred;
· Experience working with a Board of Directors;

DUTIES
· The Administrator will check and respond to email daily, write donation acknowledgement letters;
· Be responsible for updating and maintaining database (Salesforce), generate reports, and notify board when bills come in via email;
· Oversee photographer and filmmaker correspondence to check in, receive project updates;
· Develop social media posts highlighting relevant content;
· Perform simple updates to our website and create and manage social media posts;
· Assist in fundraising through grant writing, follow up on outreach, and research additional funding mechanisms;
· Take notes at our monthly board meetings and write the minutes;
· Works with board to recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals;
· Actively engage and work with volunteers, board members, committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and funders;
· Support board of directors: seek board involvement with strategic direction;
· Ensure effective systems to track progress and instill evaluation methods;
· Program registrations and event coordination.
