Position: ABAP/RICE Developer
Project: Navy ERP (Under NAVSUP BSC)
Functional Responsibility:
Designs and develops computer software applications and/or database systems, participates in large systems and subsystem planning, ensures adherence to product build schedules, release schedules, and project strategies,
Oversees testing and debugging components and modules
Leads the development of technical documentation and often leads interdisciplinary teams with responsibility for project performance.
May evaluate problems of workflow, organization, and planning, develop appropriate corrective actions and prepares and performs presentations at technical interchange meetings and project design reviews.
Minimum/General Experience:
Six (6) years of technical experience providing software development, database system development, software programming and applications management across multiple software platforms.
Requires a minimum of two (2) years DoD ERP (SAP) experience within the past 10 years (Navy experience preferred)
Prefer a minimum of ten (10) years of SAP experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently based on the strategic plan, or under general direction.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA.
Travel: Local candidates preferred; travelers considered w/expenses reimbursed; travelers can expect to perform up to 25-50% of the work remotely, 40 hrs/week, typically 4x10 (we reserve the right to change work schedules based on project needs and/or at the client's requests).
