This is a full-time position and not a contract engagement. Must be legally allowed to work in the US without sponsorship. We do not pay for job relocation.

 

The Agile Software Developer will:

Collaboratively craft testable, Clean Code that is safe to change and easy to work with.

  • Be laser-focused on the continuous delivery of business value
  • Help our customers be great at what they do by developing new products, features, and user interfaces together with 7SIGNAL sales, customer service, and the R&D team.
  • Commit to Agility via exploration and mastery of Scrum/XP/Kanban practices

Desired Skills and Experience

The preferred candidate has:

  • Some development experience e.g. boot camp, internship, personal projects
  • Interest in becoming proficient in: 
    • TDD / Unit testing
    • Java and/or JavaScript (Node)
    • DevOps (Ansible, Jenkins...)
  • Willingness to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • BA or BS degree in Math, Science, or Engineering related field 

 

Should have some mix of experience or interest in:

  • AWS ecosystem, EC2, ElasticSearch
  • AWS Firehose, AWS Redshift, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue
  • Continuous Delivery processes and enabling technologies (CI, GIT/GIT HUB…)
  • UI development using modern tools like React/Redux, Angular
  • Back-end development using java, javascript (node.js)
  • Knowledge and skills in networking and/or Wi-Fi.
