Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an IBMPA (TM1) Admin/Developer to support IBM Planning Analytics (“IBMPA”) and integrated 3rd-Party solutions. The ideal candidate will be a multi-faceted professional with the requisite high-level skills and experience with both IBMPA administration and development. The primary focus of this position will be to administer and maintain the IBM Planning Analytics environments and to provide technical support to both IT service owners, developers and end users, including business users. In this role, the candidate will share responsibility for the ongoing operational stability of the environments ensuring deployments to production conform to PFG’s change management policies and procedures while maintaining timeliness of delivery. The candidate will assist the business users and developers with projects, enhancements and updates. The ideal candidate will have high level expertise in all phases of the software development life cycle in building models that scale over time, while balancing accuracy, flexibility and speed. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communications skills to be able to articulate and collect clear requirements.

•Provide server administration (install, support, backups and maintenance)

•Proactively identify process improvement opportunities

•Develop solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes

•Ensure compliance with change management policies and procedures

•Provide technical support (client tools, troubleshoot incidents, etc.)

•Assist with user training and guides

•Prepare system documentation

•Identifies roles required for the Project. (PFG, HCL, Contract).

•Follows the PMO methodology and documents standards

•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

•7+ years of experience in Cognos IBM Planning Analytics administration (IBMPA)+

•5 years of experience in designing and developing IBMPA solutions

•Ability to quickly grasp business requirements
