Job Description
Primary Skills: Android, Video player exp, SDK Contract Duration: 6 Months contract to hire Location: Sunnyvale CA Type: W2 100% Remote
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
Deep technical knowledge of Android mobile application development with a solid understanding of the framework components and their life cycles
Strong foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for embedded systems
5+ years programming experience in Java, C#, or C++ Preferred
Required skills
2+ years of experience in building complex applications on Android phones/tablets using Java & Kotlin
Experience with Android Platform including intents, services, threading, activity, fragments Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and problem solving
Debugging skills using command line, adb and Android Studio
Experience working with ExoPlayer on Android Platform
Familiarity with video streaming protocols like HLS, DASH Experience with unit testing technologies such as Mockito, Wire Mock, Kiwi, Robolectric
